Chicken in Creamy Sauce

This is a very simple recipe yet fabulous in taste.

Ingredients:

500 g. chicken breast fillet, cut into bite-size pcs. then dredge in flour

1 medium-size onion, chopped

½ cup sour cream (OR ½ tbsp. calamansi juice, stirred in ½ cup all-purpose cream)

2 tbsp. tomato paste

¾ cup chicken broth (OR ½ chicken bouillon cube dissolved in ¾ cup water)

¼ cup grated cheese

1 pc. potato, cubed then fried

1 pc. carrot, cubed then fried

salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:

Heat a little oil and butter in a pan then fry the chicken. Set aside.

Sauté onions. Return the chicken to the pan and add broth.

Let it simmer then stir in cream, tomato paste and cheese.

Season with salt and pepper.

Topped with fried carrots and potatoes.

Best serve with rice.
